The Crinkle Ball

I hate it. I regret giving it to him, because now he only plays with it between 12am and 6am. I had to confiscate the damn thing 2 nights in a row so I could sleep. Both times, he followed me into the bedroom and watched me close it away and the bed stand. Once he realized he wasn't getting it back, he sighed and layed down to sleep, and stayed there the whole night. I felt so guilty.

He chases it up and down the hall way. He pounces on it and bats it around. Sometimes, he over pounces and rolls into the wall, making a very loud THUD noise. It's so cute. But so, so annoying.

It's like Kitty is in a quasy heat right now. She's rolling around on her back a bit more than usual, and there is more variation and trilling in her mews. I've read that when it warms up, some spayed cats go into a quasy heat (psychologically). It's cute, though, and shes not presenting herself to everyone she sees, so I think we're good.

I am going to try and find the time to talk to the vet about changing from the Royal Canin RX diet to the Wysong RX diet. I am concerned that the massive quantities of corn in the food will make Kitty's fat ass even fatter. She is 18 pounds of solid cat, she doesn't need to weight more. It's also making her way more dandery. She is flaking tons.

FYI everyone, don't over Furminate your cats. My sister bought a Furminator last week and set to work on her cat, Jeremy, while watching TV. Well, Jeremy loved it! He purred and purred and purred, and when my sister finally looked down from her show, she had furminated a big bald spot on Jeremy's back. It's huge, and hilarious.

Wow 18 pounds. That is funny about Jeremy. Everybody here hates being brushed.
